Jamie doesn't like to just lay out in the sun, but he gave in a little (one hour). Collin loved his tent. It was the perfect thing for him. There was a slight breeze blowing and he slept the whole time. After an hour, Jamie was more than ready to go. Can't you tell how miserable he looks? He especially loved it when the girls would walk by and accidentally kick sand in his face or shook the sand off of their towels standing right next to him. I'm laughing just thinking about it.

Balcony View
We stayed on the 16th floor with an ocean view that was breathtaking. What we didn't expect was the concerts right outside our balcony that lasted every night until 11:00. It sounded like American Idol rejects to me, but apparently the other hundreds of people listening loved it. It was horrible. When Natalie first heard the music she was so excited. She yelled back into the room to us and said, "Everybody listen. I think it's the Naked Brother's Band." We all laughed so hard. She said, "No. For real. I heard on T.V. that they are going to be in Las Angela (that's how she said it) and we are in Las Angela and I just know it's them. Can we go down and see them daddy?" Jamie actually took Joy and Natalie down to show Natalie that we weren't really that lucky. Another funny story was when she first walked out onto the balcony she said, "Mommy, come here fast. You're not going to believe what's on the beach. Hurry!" Well, as a parent, I'm thinking oh no what is it? I hope everyone out there is fully clothed. So I go running for the balcony and Natalie points down to the beach and says, "Can you believe it? They have a playground right on the beach, I mean right in the sand! This is the most wonderful place ever!"

Putt-Putt at Pirate's Paradise
Swimming
We had fun at the pool, which was on the roof of the hotel. It was a great view of the city, but we didn't take a picture of the view. Sorry!
Sand Bathing
Playing in the sand. It was too cold to sun bathe so we decided to go SAND bathing.
I hope a crab doesn't pinch me under the sand.
The sand feels so good on my belly.
